s’okay

21 Feb

Not much to post about recently. Mostly just working and going to school. However, in my 3D graphics class we’re doing some pretty cool stuff. We’ve started working with Adobe Flash and I’m having a lot of fun with it so far. The projects our teacher is giving us have been pretty cool. Hopefully I can post the finished projects on here sometime soon. I’ll advise you not to get your hopes up as far as artistic ability goes…it looks like I drew everything in Microsoft Paint. I think it makes it look funny though, so I don’t mind it.

I finally got a cd player installed in my car after driving around without one for close to a year now. I don’t even know how to handle all the awesome music I’ve been listening to. It rules.

I’ve been finding a lot of gif images randomly on the america onlines, so be expecting at least one per post from now on.

ya’ll come back now, ya hear?

Flight of the Conchords are/is coming to Houston on May 6th. I’m really excited about it. I’m talkin’ big time.

The new episodes so far have been hilarious. Murray has much bigger speaking parts which makes it rule even more. Here’s a site I found that has all the new episodes if you’re interested in seeing them..

Sorry this post isn’t very big. I just wanted to throw that stuff out there.

Oh yeah, Blink 182 are officially back together. That’s pretty cool. I’m interested to see what kind of jams they’re gonna pump out.

…all up at the club on a Sunday

Vacation is over. I’m working 5 days a week again which doesn’t seem that bad, but work teamed up with business calculus and finance classes are a team that can easily kick my ass. It’s like a bear and a giant dragon fighting a blind child covered in bacon with salmon stuffed in his pockets. I got an interview at a temp agency in beaumont. I’m kind of uneasy about the uncertainty of it though. I would have to work at a job for a month or so, then move on to another one, if there is another one to be had. I don’t know. I should probably give it a shot. It might rule big time. It can’t suck any worse than the job I have now.

I was an usher at my cousin’s wedding recently. I found out that being an usher is easily the most awkward job in the wedding cast and crew.

I thought I was going to be extremely late to the rehearsal dinner due to some misunderstandings in the directions I was given. It turns out I was 45 minutes earlier than every single person, which was cool because I like sitting outside churches in the ghetto when it’s 30 degrees outside. I finally got let in and I went to the restroom. It wasn’t much bigger than my body…I maybe had a couple feet of wiggle room. About halfway through my business, I heard “KSSHHH” above my head. I looked to see what was going on up there and was met with potpourri scented air freshener in my eyeballs from an automatic air freshener dispenser. That marked the first time I can remember cursing in a church.

The wedding itself went well, minus the confrontation I was forced to have with every person that came through the door. I guess it wouldn’t have been so bad if I was a little more outgoing. But anyway, I got to eat a lot of good food and hang out with my parents and my cousin. So it was a pretty good time.

I watched the Super Bowl with Justin and Josh the other day. It was intense. I got to see some funny commercials too, which is my favorite part. One of the best included this:

That’s all I’ve got for now guys.
